Land Surface Processes & Hydrology
Overview
Research foci on land surface processes and hydrology include the development of land surface and hydrology modules for climate models, flood forecasting, land/atmosphere interactions, remote sensing of land surface processes, basin and smaller scale hydrological modeling, contaminant hydrology, salt marsh hydrology, coastal hydrology, and surface mineral dust. Surface hydrology is conducted in collaboration with faculty in Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Georgia Water Resources Institute.
